La Fiamma 2487 m Route archive

Spazzacaldeira is a popular site, not only because of its impressive panorama, but also because it bears the Fiamma rock needle, the symbol of the Bregaglia valley. The climb over the NE ridge is particularly rewarding, followed by an ascent of the Fiamma or Dente.

The bold rocky pin of the Fiamma is often very crowded, while the neighbouring Dente is less frequently climbed. The highest point of the Spazzacaldeira Massif (2487 m) is even less frequently visited; most people descend directly after the Fiamma or Dente.

The climbing routes on the east face are described in the climbing area Spazzacaldeira East Face.
