Glarner Vorab 3018 m Route archive
Glarner and Bündner Vorab, connected by the flat Vorabsattel, were first climbed in 1842 by A. Escher from Linth. Bündner Vorab has a triangulation point and summit book. Both mountains have splendid views!
The west wall has a 600 meter long alpine climbing route (one of the longest of the Eastern Alps) of grade VI. Opened by F. Hauser and H.U. Rhyner, August 25, 1978. 2009 fully equipped with bolts by U. Frei and H. U. Rhyner.
