Baltschiedertal / Satolwäschi 1600 m Alpine climbing
The sometimes-large distances between bolts has lead to decreasing popularity of the slab climbing on Satolwäschi. However, some well bolted routes in the "Plaisir" standard and the recent addition of climbs like "Geisleitra" make this a great place to visit.
After an initial development phase in the 80s with protagonists Peter Rubin, Miggi Margelist and HP Kernen, since 2008 the Kernen brothers have invested a great deal of heart and soul into the renovation and redevelopment of Satolwäschi.
