Route description
La Fouly - Sur la Li - Bivouac du Dolent
From La Fouly, cross the bridge over the Dranse de Ferret (river) at P. 1596, then turn left towards the striking earth barriers at Darbé. Behind the barriers, bear right (NW) to the path junction P. 1638 m, then turn left. Climb the steep slope along the forest's edge, then after one rocky step (fixed chain) cross the the grazing slopes of Sur la Li. At approx. 2210 m (Reuses du Dolent) cross the stream and bear right (W, then NW) climbing more directly up slope.
Higher up, cross the stream again (actually two tributaries) and ascend to the right of a landslide funnel over screes to the bivouac (2670 m), 1 1⁄4 hours.
