This is a well-known, popular and fairly safe ski tour from Geschinen. After a first stretch on the summer path through a larch forest the itinerary is subsequently on wide, gentle slopes.
From the train station of Geschinen (1340 m) cross the Rhone river on a road bridge and ascend to the Niwwi Hitte (1455 m). Now follow the forest road through Breitewald, the clearing of Seng and via Unner Flesche and Ober Flesche to Altstafel (2082 m). Ascend south-eastward to Bru (2238 m), where the large slopes begin. On the north ridge of Brudelhorn continue in the same direction and pass P. 2468 on the north. Now ascend to Distelgrat or directly on the SE face below P. 2729 to reach the summit cross of Brudelhorn.
