The normal hut approach leads from the pretty Engadine village of Guarda through the Val Tuoi. The hut is often visited by bike, thanks to the road. A short variant on the west side of the valley provides some variety.
Route description
Guarda - Chamonna Tuoi CAS
From the east exit of the village of Guarda, a dirt road leads northwest into the "straight and narrows" of Val Tuoi, first past Clüs, then via Alp Suot. Stay on this road on the east side of the valley, and follow it all the way to the hut.
Variant on the western side of the valley
At P. 1824 Prasüras you can switch to the west side of the valley with a slight descent; at Alp Suot you must rejoin the main track (approx. 20 minutes longer).
