Cima di Castello 3378 m Route archive

This beautiful summit, the culmination point of the southern Bergell mountains, drops off steeply to the east and south. To the west, gentle firn slopes lead down to the Vadrec da l'Albigna (glacier). The Cima di Castello dominates the three valleys of Forno, Albigna and Zocca. The S-Wall offers interesting and difficult, rarely visited climbs. The glaciers around allow for some excellent alpine tours.
