Col des Plines South 3260 m Route archive
The pass is located between the Gendarmes des Plines (3325 m) and the Roc des Plines. It separates the Plateau du Trient from the Glacier des Plines. The South Col is today preferred; the northern Col des Plines is best avoided. On the NW side is an impressive "soufflure" or wind bowl.
