It is an easy route, the only difficulty being a short passage after the Col de Fenestral to overcome a rocky step. A chair lift makes it possible to shorten the tour by starting directly from Les Grands Prés (Euloi)..
Route description
Ovronnaz - Col de Fenestral - Grande Dent de Morcles
From Ovronnaz (bottom station of the Jorasse chair lift at ca. 1380 m) ascend on the marked ascent route through the forest to Petit Pré (1998 m). Ascend the narrow valley to the plain of Euloi (2101 m). Up to this point there is a variant: from the summit station of the Bougnonne La Forcle chair lift (2166 m) ski down to the plain of Euloi. Now ascend on the large Blette d’en Lui ridge or to the left of this ridge in the valley floor to reach the Col de Fenestral (2454 m). On the other side of the col there is the new Cabane du Fenestral. Now traverse the steep slopes north-westward until the plain with P. 2582. Continue to ascend the wide slopes of Grand Cor. On the last 200 metres make an arc to the right on the easy summit slopes. The summit is reached via a short exposed section.

From Col de Forcle (2166 m), summit station of the Bougnonne chair lift ski down to Euloi (ca. 2100 m).
Variante: Col de Fenestral - Grand Cor
From the Col de Fenestral directly on the ridge into the Grand Cor plain.
Descent
On the ascent. However, on the way back it makes more sense to ascend from Grand Cor to the SE shoulder of Tête Séri (ca. 2710 m). From there ski down eastward on the tiered slopes. Continue on the ascent route and the ski runs to Ovronnaz.
