This is a rewarding ski tour, made easy by the use of the ski lifts of Splügen. You will hardly ever be the only visitor on the summit.
Route description
Splügen (Tanatzhöhi summit station) – secondary summit
From Splügen (1458 m) ride the gondola to the Tanatzhöhi summit station (2142 m) and ski down to Tamboalp (2033 m). Now ascend south-westward via Rietboda and on hilly, east-facing terrain to P. 2307. Turn north-westward to reach the big bowl to the east of Guggernüll. South of P. 2580 ascend towards Gemschschluecht to reach the SE ridge. Follow the ridge to the summit.
Secondary summit – main summit
The main summit is reached on foot overcoming exposed rocks.

Tamboalp - Splügen
From Tamboalp you can ski down on the alp access road via Windigstafel to reach the valley run to Splügen.
