Holzerhorn 1946 m Route archive

The summit of the Holzerhorn is reached by climbers via the west ridge, in nice steps and enjoyable climbing. This route is rarely done, because the approach is relatively long, the climbing sections short and the descent leads trackless over grassy slopes and through forest.

There are sport climbs on the pillars and towers on the southern flank of the mountain. Some longer, but also shorter routes lead through very steep, often with rough edges and water pockets. These routes are all very difficult and require a lot of finger and arm training.
