Short but not so easy hut approach which requires safe conditions. You can also stay at the Bächlitalhütte on route if you some days free.
Route description
Gerstenegg - firn slope NE of Brandlammhoren
From the top station (approx. 1710 m) of the Handegg – Gerstenegg cableway, head southwest to P. 1771 on the Räterichsbodensee (reservoir) then follow the line of the summer path up into Bächlital. Pass right (N) of the hump (2188 m) and into the broad valley behind, then follow the valley floor to P. 2245. Soon thereafter, steer left (SW) to climb the broad NE facing slopes towards a clearly visible couloir that leads up into the saddle between the Brandlammhoren south summit and a rock tower.
Pass between Brandlammhoren South and North summits
On (most likely cramponed) foot, climb the very steep (100 m of 45 °) gully up into saddle and if you like, bear left (southwards) along the short snow ridge to "take in" the Brandlammhoren's south summit (3089 m). No descend the very steep (43 °) and quite long south-west couloir onto the upper fields of the Hinder Brandlamm.
Brandlamm - steep drop (ca. 2700 m)
On skis but keeping as high as possible, traverse westwards along the upper snow slopes, pass beneath the Fellenberglicken (pass), then above P 2791 and reach a terrace south of the Bächlistock.

Descend the very steep snow covered rock slabs (38°) diagonally SW to reach the valley of the Triftbach.
Triftbach - Lauteraarhütte
Cross onto the shelf which leads round to Triftleni (2326 m) , then make a final short ascent westwards to the hut.
