Pointe de Cion 3040 m Via ferrata
This is the highest point of the Monts de Cion. Two new via ferratas (an easier "Edelweiss" and the more difficult "Androsace") as well as an easier one intended for descent lead to the summit. Both ascent routes offer some interesting climbing on the SW flank of the Monts de Cion; a traverse of the two main peaks is on good rock and also 'equipped'. All routes can be easily reached from the Col des Gentianes cable car via a 15 min walk.
