Normal winter approach to the Ringelspitzhütte. Bus / taxi can usually possible to Langwies car park. Especially in spring, when the snow line rises to around 1200 to 1300 m, it is worth taking a bike with you. If the road is open further, bus tickets/ driving permits are available from the Langwies car park , or via SMS or App.
Route description
Vättis - Langwies
From Vättis, follow the road southwest for around 4 km to the Langwies car park.
Langwies - Kunkelspass - Ringelspitzhütte
Pass Unterkunkels and Oberkunkels and follow the road to just below the Kunkelspass to P. 1280. You can stay on the road or cut the corner and head straight up to the ridge, before turning west along the forested ridge to Grossalp (1832 m) and the hut at 1998 m.
