Route description
Realp - Rotondohütte SAC
From Realp train station (1538 m), head SE and cross over the railway, then follow the old Furka railway line to the second bridge: over the Furkareuss (1603 m). Follow the mountain track southwards into the Witenwasserental (valley) to Schweig (1738 m) and cross the bridge at P. 1727 direction south. Climb the steep flank E of Höhenbiel (1986 m) to reach Oberchäseren (2004 m), then continue up the valley, with its many marking poles, via Witenwasserenstafel (2185 m) to the Rotondo hut.
