Topalihütte SAC 2674 m
«Eagle’s nest» best describes the cabin’s location. 1500 metres above the lower Mattertal, the modern cabin with its large panorama windows offers an unobstructed view of the Mischabel range directly across; to the right Monte Rosa can be seen in the distance. Alpine hikers appreciate the cabin at the foot of Distelgrat for summit ascents, others use it as a stopover on challenging high routes and col crossings.
