Subscribe to the SAC Route Portal The advantages at a glance

We constantly add new itineraries to the portal for mountain and alpine hiking, mountaineering, climbing, via ferrata, ski touring and snowshoeing.

Thanks to the filters it offers, the portal is a very useful tool, enabling you to search amongst over 230 huts. Reservations can be made online for over 120 of them.

In the SAC-CAS app you can use all the functions of the SAC Route Portal on the move and offline.

Our experienced authors constantly prepare new routes from the SAC guidebooks. They provide detailed, up-to date descriptions as well as photographs and information concerning accessibility. The itineraries are also visible on the swisstopo maps.

On the SAC route portal, the itineraries are reproduced on the interactive, online swisstopo maps. You can zoom in to obtain details of your itinerary and superimpose additional information on the map (pedestrian paths, gradient, access to public transport).

Find the route best suited to you by using the different filters: level of difficulty, time required, height difference and the altitude at your destination.

Benefit from numerous functionalities such as hazard warnings, the search function, precise filters and different layers of cartographic information. You can also add information to your favourites, as well as plot and print out your itineraries.

Plan your journey to your departure point in one click: the departure point for each itinerary is linked directly to the CFF timetable and Google maps.
