This striking outcrop to the NE of the village impresses all visitors of Kandersteg. With the new chair lift you can easily reach the height of the idyllic Oeschinensee. The rocky lower section up to the "Tschäri" summit of Bire has three different climbing routes. On a mountain path of moderate difficulty, the summit is also reachable by hikers via a long loop to the east.
