Ce sommet est le point le plus élevé d'une crête accidentée qui s'entend en arc de cercle du Col de Pierra Perchia (P. 1859, sans nom sur CN) au SE du Trou de l'Etoile (1790 m, sans nom sur CN). Le versant NW trés raide est entièrement rocheux de délité.
