Since the construction of the Wiwannihütte this has become a busy summit. Particularly striking is a large hollow above the rock in the south face. The route "Steinadler" (golden eagle) is a well recommended route, followed by a traverse of the summit and descent via the SW ridge. In addition to the ascents and routes described here, there are a large number of sport climbing routes on the south face, which are described in detail by the SAC climbing guide of 'Oberwallis'.
