Wichtiger Pass. Er liegt zwischen der Pointe de Vouasson (Arête Louettes Econdoué) und dem Pic d’Artsinol. Er führt vom Val d’Hérémence (Pralong) ins Val d’Hérens (Lana).

Meina: vermutlich abgeleitet von afrz. maine (grosse [Alp]). Früher wurde auch La Maigne gebraucht. Méribé: lat. mirari, resp. Patois merî (schauen, bewundern) und Patois bé (schön), also wörtlich «Schönblick».
