Hiking or climbing on routes in alpine terrain requires good physical health, meticulous preparation and technical skills in mountain sports. The routes presented here are undertaken at one’s own risk. If you want to safely practice mountain sports, taking training courses run by experts is highly recommended by the SAC. Gufelstock 2435 m Route archive

Gufelstock is the highest peak on the ridge linking Schwarzstöckli to Gufelstock, which continues via Breitchamm, Güntelchamm and Chämmli towards Engi. To the west is an open area ideal for hiking, while towards Widersteiner Hüttli the terrain is very steep and blue-white signposted (Via Glaralpina). „Gufel“ is a cave, where livestock and herdsmen can find shelter in case of bad weather.
