Poncione di Cassina Baggio Sud e Manió 2648 m Climbing
The Cassina Baggio is multi faceted: with its towers, gullies, walls and ridges, and is one of the most visited mountains in Ticino. The southern wall, which culminates at point 2647 m, offers various routes. These lead through slabby terrain, initially mellow, later becoming steeper and more structured. The rock is very good overall, though there are some areas of talus and loose rock. Special care is needed in these areas, especially during descent.
