Route description
Descent to SE
An abseil piste leads direct from the summit down the SE couloir between Adlerspitzli and Geissstock to the screes below (7 x 20 m).
Variant - via the Ruchband
Descend into the gap between Adlerpitzli and Geissstock and climb the opposite side 30 m up to a group of trees. Then traverse along the cliff base of the Geissstock SW wall over three protrusions to the actual Ruchband. After the crossing still further under the conspicuous yellow wall, descend from the northern end of the Ruchbandes through gullies and over scree to Holzflüeli. Continue on the marked mountain foot path (for the track: see Ruchband: Zu- und Abstieg Keltterrouten Mythen Süd).
