Short approach to a mystical wall. The first place on the journey is Hobbingen, or "Hobbiton".
Route description
Ernen - Climbing area
From the Zauberwald car park at Wasen, follow the pat, initially beside the water pipe into the Zauberwald (magic forest). Continue along the path, descending slightly to reach a stretch of open ridge which leads to a small hut. For the Hobbiton sector, head rightwards past the hut and scramble down to find the cliff base. For the sectors "Fangorn" and "Ithilien", follow the path a little further, then drop down below an electricity pylon
