Thanks to the ski lift, this is a short, but full-scale, classy ski tour to a threethousander.
Route description
Mot Scalotta ski lift summit station- Forcellina – ski depot
From Bivio / Beiva ride the ski lift to Mot Scalotta (P. 2562). Follow the ridge into a small breach. From there traverse the east slopes of the Sur al Cant ridge southward to reach a terrace above Leg Curegia (2594 m). Continue south-westward until shortly before Forcellina (2671 m). Now ascend southward to a wide bowl north of Piz Forcellina. Traverse the bowl south-westward and on the last stretch ascend steeply to the ski depot on the western ridge of Piz Turba.
Ski depot – summit
From the ski depot follow the ridge to the summit.
Descent
Back to Forcellina on the ascent, from there ski down eastward to Alp da Sett and Alp Tgavretga, passing P. 2165 on the east. Now descend on the alp access road along the Eva da Sett to Bivio via Tua.
