The ascent is in the wide valley of Alpe di Stou and it goes also to Punta di Stou and Pizzo Molare. One ascends in small valleys and on wide ridges along the Pizzo Molare NW face.
Route description
Molare - Pizzo Bareta
From Molare (1488 m) ascend north-eastward toward Stèisgia. After crossing the Rì di Vignone, follow a short, steep rib to reach the wide Nedi pasture. Now ascend north-eastward until Alpe Stou di Sotto (1876 m) located between Costa and Punta di Stou. Pass Mottella (2015 m) and turn right (E) to reach a terrace at ca. 2400 m by ascending the steeper slopes (32° - 34°) at Cumasnè. Now ascend northward past Ganone dei Motti Ör to reach the summit on skis.
