This route can be combined with the ascent to Capanna Cristallina. It is on the side of Valle Maggia where the winter ascent to the Cristallina summit on its E and NE slopes is. This area is rarely visited.
Route description
Ossasco - Pizzo del Narèt
The starting point at Ossasco (1313 m) is above the parking lot. Traverse the pasture and then follow the summer trail, which crosses a road slightly above P. 1538. Remaining on the left bank of the Ri di Cristallina, ascend past P. 1775 to reach Alpe di Cristallina (1800 m). From the alp ascend Val Torta on the orographically left-hand side by traversing the north-east facing slopes until you reach P. 2150 and 2152. (If the conditions are not absolutely safe, ascend on the other side of the valley.) From the knoll at P. 2152 descend slightly below P. 2214 and then ascend the wide, increasingly steep slopes to reach Passo del Narèt (2438 m). From the col ascend the SE ridge without further difficulties to reach the summit.
