The "Passerelle à Farinet", with its links to the legendary counterfeiter Joseph-Samuel Farinet, hovers airily above the Salentse gorge. But inside the gorge is something even more airy: The three-part "Via Farinetta", a via ferrata in a class of its own, which leads through the steep, often overhanging walls getting more and more difficult as you go. The thermal waters for the baths at Saillon also come from this wild and mysterious gorge.
