Route description
Schwarzhorn - Chrinnenboden
Follow the white-blue-white marked track along the south ridge of the mountain, which is almost as wide as the main road in Grindelwald, but slowly gets narrower. A first tower is avoided on the right via a slightly exposed ledge, the second is tackled directly. 200 meters below the summit, at the saddle before Gemschberg (2659 m), the path turns right. Descend a zigzag path over scree (in early summer snow) into the basin beneath the Schwarzhorn, and back to Chrinnenboden.

Descend to Schreckfeld, or follow the road back up to First.
