Hike to the oldest club hut of the SAC
The route to the Fridolinshütte is easy (possible with children). The trail from the Fridolinshütte onwards is marked, but somewhat exposed in places. It is easier to cross the streams in the morning on warm summer days than in the afternoon. The Grünhornhütte was built in 1863 at the behest of the CC (Central Committee). It is actually the oldest club hut of the SAC. This simple building is owned by the Tödi section of the SAC and is preserved as a hut museum. No overnight accommodation available! Impressive rock walls surround the approach.
